Pumpkin Spice Cauliflower Smoothie

Pumpkin spice lattes may be basic, but pumpkin spice smoothies?...Far from it. I jumped on the pumpkin smoothie bandwagon for the first time 4+ years ago after the discovery of my first favorite plant-based blogger, Oh She Glows. Though I have never been vegan, I have ALWAYS been a huge veggie lover, and Angela's voice really spoke to me. While she's grown throughout the years, her blog and recipes are still AMAZING and she now has 2 cookbooks filled with drool worthy dishes. Since I started @nowheylady, I have found and recently gotten quite obsessed with a newer foodie influencer @shutthekaleup. Not only is Jeannette funny but she makes the best, easy, real food concoctions. Most recently, I found myself with starry eyes over a squash based smoothie of hers which as most of her smoothies do, featured cauliflower. This reminded me of my previous obsession with pumpkin spice smoothies and I just had to fuse the two smoothies together. So now that you have some fun food inspo to look through, you just need to make the smoothie below to sip on as you do it!

[Makes 1 LARGE serving]

Shopping // Pantry List:

  • Organic pumpkin puree
  • Frozen, steamed cauliflower
  • Frozen banana
  • Cooked carrot (cooled)
  • Nut milk
  • Maca powder
  • Blackstrap molasses
  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger
  • Nutmeg
  • Turmeric
  • Optional: collagen
  • Optional: cereal or granola topping


  • Add the following ingredients to your blender: 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree (fresh, canned, or boxed all work just fine), 1/2 cup of steamed now frozen cauliflower, 1 chopped frozen banana, 1 cool steamed or roasted carrot, 1 cup of almond milk, 1 teaspoon of maca powder, 1 heaping teaspoon of blackstrap molasses, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ginger (fresh or powdered), 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
  • Blend, blend, blend
  • Add ice if needed (If you like you smoothies THICK like me add around 6 cubes )
  • Serve in one tall glass and drink the extras out of the blender :)
  • Top with the cereal of your choice - this one is topped with Purely Elizabeth puffs
